Police are asking for help in identifying a man who stole $9,000 worth of property from an apartment in Astoria earlier this month.
Police said the victim, a 75-year-old man, noticed property missing from his 30-90 33rd St. apartment on Nov. 8. The items were taken, he said, from the storage area in his bedroom.
Surveillance footage of the suspect was captured while the perpetrator was inside the victim’s apartment, according to police. Once inside, the man took the property from the victim’s bedroom and fled.
Anyone with information in regard to the incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
