Competitive eater Molly Schuyler took home first place — and $3,000 — after devouring 10 “Ooey Gooey Mooey” burgers in 10 minutes during the first annual burger eating contest at Astoria’s Uncle Jack’s Meat House on Saturday.
Schuyler beat six men to win, with Dan “Killer” Kennedy, one of the world’s top competitive eaters, coming in second. The two world champs competed alongside four Queens residents and one participant from Pennsylvania.
The contest was held in celebration of the restaurant’s third anniversary. Owner Willie Degel judged the competition alongside Chef Barret Beyer of Long Island, DJ Chef — who recently won Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen — and comedian Christian Finnegan.
Contestants were given 10 minutes to eat as many burgers as possible.
Degel, who currently hosts Food Network’s Restaurant Stakeout, plans on raising the stakes for next year’s contest, with a grand prize of $10,000. A spokesperson for Degel said next year’s competition will also be expanded to include Uncle Jack’s Georgia location.

CONGRATS MOLLY
Wholly cow!
Congratulations Molly!!!
My God…that’s a whole load of grease and cholesterol. No wonder that cardio vascular disease is our #1 killer.
She will need that money for heart medications and treatment.
With so many people either homeless or struggling to make ends meet, we have events like this that reward gluttony.
Ugh, you must be a joy at parties…….NOT
Pat go devote your life to the poor!
Let these people do what they want. It’s their money / time / food to waste – not yourz
what makes you think I don’t help the poor? Unlike the cretin who owns this restaurant who abuses his staff and shortchanges them their wages, I help the poor. $3K for a binge eating contest while people sleep on the sidewalk is disgusting. While innocent children go HUNGRY. Why not invite them into this restaurant instead of being a publicity whore?
Now you’re pretending Trump lovers care about more than billionaires? Have some integrity.
Don’t think anyone is going hungry in NY but still doesn’t excuse this disgusting and gluttonous competition.
Well that’s just plain wrong and I wish I could downvote you infintely more times. There are many people struggling for food in NYC.

Wake up. Poverty is ever present in this city. But you are too self-absorbed to realize that
The place needs all the attention it can get, food is average at best , and pricey.
damn bro why so bitter???
Lighten up Francis!
I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m actually with Macnamaracist on this one—why waste all that food (they just vomit it up afterwards) and money on something so ridiculously pointless when you could have actually helped another human in need.
How many homeless people are sleeping in your home?
Bloomberg is gonna save us…no more big gulps.
