Police Searching for Man Who Stole Victim’s Wallet at Knife Point: NYPD

Police are searching for one of two suspects who allegedly robbed a 20-year-old man at knifepoint in Long Island City in December.

The two thieves approached the victim with a knife at around 12:28 p.m. on Dec. 12 in front of a 31-06 35th Ave., police say.

They then removed the victim’s wallet when he fell trying to escape. The wallet contained $300 and an identification card.

One of the suspects, Christian Jones, 20, from the Bronx, has been arrested and charged with one count of robbery in relation to the incident.

The other suspect has yet to be apprehended. Police have identified the second suspect as 19-year-old Tyrese Knight, described as male, black, 5 feet 6 inches, and 200 pounds.

Anyone with information in regards to Knight’s whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

5 foot 6 and 200lbs? he’s eating well while robbing others. Hope the NYPD gets this bloated punk off the streets before he harms anyone else
