Sept. 9, 2014 Staff Report
One door opens, while another closes.
A new pizza and seafood restaurant is going to open at 32-02 Broadway, in the space that was previously occupied by Euro Delights.
The new owner is currently renovating the space and the workers were unsure when it will open.
Meanwhile, about six blocks away, Enigma Bookstore, located at 33-17 Crescent Street, announced on Facebook that it is closing for good this month.
The owners of the bookstore said that they would be focusing on hosting events at other locations, particularly those that serve food and drinks.
While the events will be held in all five boroughs, the announcement states, “We of course, will host many [events] in Astoria, as this is Enigma’s Birthplace.”
