NYPD: Man Stole Paintings from Astoria Bar William Hallet

Police have released video footage of a man stealing two paintings off a wall at a restaurant on 30th Avenue.

Police say that the suspect walked into William Hallet, a bar restaurant located at 36-10 30th Ave., at around 4:00 a.m. on Sept. 16. He took two paintings off a wall and fled. In the video, he appears to have a big grin on his face.

The suspect is described as an Asian man in his late 20s or early 30s.
