Police Release Photos of Men Allegedly Involved in Shooting at Astoria Houses

The police have released photos of two men of interest in relation to a shooting that took place at Astoria Houses on Sunday.

The men were seen fleeing 4-10 27th Ave. after a 22-year-old man was shot in the left thigh at that location around 1 a.m. on Sunday, July 29.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst and has been treated and released.

One of the suspects is described as black, with an athletic build, and having short black hair and a chin beard. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and red shorts.

The other man is also black, with an athletic build. He has short braided hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt with the word ‘witness’ in white lettering on the front, with gray sweatpants, white socks and black sandals.

Suspect (NYPD)

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

The good news is that because of video technology and social media they will probably arrest them within a couple days. The bad news is that Deblasio will release them the very next day and the tax payers will continue paying their NYCHA rent, Medicaid & food stamps.
