April 9, 2018 By Tara Law

An unidentified man was killed Sunday morning after jumping in front of a Manhattan-bound R train at the Steinway Street subway station.

A train operator told police that he saw the man jump from the platform shortly before 9:55 a.m. but was unable to stop.

The man was declared dead on the scene. No criminality is suspected, police say.

The NYPD is currently working to identify the man and to notify his family, a department spokesperson said.

Have some respect for yourself and the family of whomever lost their life so tragically and mind your own business. You should be ashamed of yourself.
