Police Searching For Missing 14-Year-Old From Astoria

Police are searching for a 14-year-old teen from Astoria who has been missing since Saturday.

Eftyhia Galanis, also known as “Effy”, was last seen at her home near 21st Road and 19th Street at 10 p.m. on March 30, according to police.

An NYPD spokesperson said there have been no updates on the case as of today.

Galanis is 5 feet tall and weighs 150 pounds, according to police. She has brown eyes, black hair, and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a 124 logo, and white striped pants.

Anyone with information in regards to the missing is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.

All calls are strictly confidential.

Update (11:30 a.m. April 3) She has yet to be found, police said.

People that lived in marine terrace should of known two many chrildren lived there police didn’t tell no one what happened to our neighborhood
