Police seek suspect involved in Astoria shootings

The Police are searching for a suspect who shot two men who were sitting in a car in Astoria.

The suspect allegedly fired at the pair, grazing the head of a 24-year-old and striking a 23-year-old man in the head and shoulder.

The vehicle was sitting at 25th Avenue and Brooklyn-Queens Expressway late in the evening of June 20, the police said.

After the shooting, the suspect then took the victims’ wallets, which had cash and credit cards inside.

Both men were then taken to Elmhurst Hospital.

The suspect was described as a light-skinned black man wearing a dark-colored ski cap.
