A developer filed plans with the Buildings Dept. yesterday to construct a five-story office building on 37th Ave. in Long Island City.
The plans call for a 39,969 square foot building– to be located at 11-02 37th Ave. –that would consist of a parking garage with 53 spaces, a storage and mechanical room, offices on floors two through five and a lounge and training rooms on the second floor.
The site is currently home to a vacant two-story commercial building.
The developer, Ira Goldstein, the owner of the Black Car Fund, could not be reached for comment.

At least it is not going to become a community jail with all the crime in the neighborhood.

enough of the building — tooooo much now – and if they can’t rent it – it will be a homeless shelter wait and see –
There is a hotel that is being build on Steinway and Northern Blvd. Most likely that will become a nice homeless shelter.

Well it looks like DeBlasio will be reelected so yea. As long as it is not near your home and you know that they are being housed somewhere..no one cares.
