Two men were hospitalized with stab wounds Monday night in Astoria, with one left in critical condition.

Police responded to a 911 call at 30th Avenue and 38th Street at 10:36 p.m., and arrived to find two men having been stabbed.

They found a 32-year-old man with a stab wound to the chest and a 39-year-old man with a slash wound on his left hand.

Both were taken to the hospital, with the 32-year-old in critical condition and the 39-year-old in stable condition.

Police said the incident could be part of a failed robbery, but it is still under investigation by the NYPD.
