William Hallet decks out bar as Moe’s Tavern for Halloween

Grab a Duff Beer and a donut, it’s time to celebrate Halloween Simpsons-style.

Local Astoria bar William Hallet is celebrating Halloween by dressing up as Moe’s Tavern from The Simpsons, transforming to look like the animated bar and offering specials that customers could normally only see on TV.

The bar, located at 36-10 30th Avenue, is hosting a Simpsons-themed bash this weekend, running from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Saturday and Monday nights, and offering real Duff Beers, Flaming Moes, Drunken Donuts, and other specials from the show.

There will also be a DJ and costume contest, so visitors should get ready to break out their best Simpsons attire. NYEater was first to report the story.

This is the second year running that William Hallet has dressed up as a cartoon bar, last year transforming in to Bob’s Burgers, the popular burger joint from the TV show of the same name.
