Finding a healthy and quick bite to eat in Astoria is about to become easier.
Local entrepreneur Farrukh Hafanov just signed a lease to 33-04 Broadway, and is planning on opening Nature Soul Organic Café, an organic and healthy eatery.
The café will offer a full restaurant menu, in addition to a salad bar and cold pressed juices, which will allow customers to grab a quick bite on the run or stay for a full meal.
“Astoria is full of people who are health-conscious, and I think that this will appeal to them with everything being organic and healthy,” Hafanov said
The idea for a health-oriented restaurant came out of a recent trip to the West Coast, Hafanov explained. He visited Los Angeles, and said he wanted to incorporate the healthy lifestyle he saw out west in to the existing restaurant landscape in New York.
Hafanov said that he will begin construction on the space soon, and hopes to open his doors in about four months, aiming for a mid-January or early February opening.
