YOU HAVE BEEN DUPED HOMELESS HOTEL COMING TO A NEIGHBORHOOD NEAR YOU!!! DEVELOPER WILL RUSH CONSTRUCTION TO RIDE THE DHS HOMELESS HOTEL WAREHOUSING WAVE AND MAKE THAT MONEY.. INSTEAD OF BUILDING REAL AFFORDABLE HOUSING THE CITY RATHER PAY ON AVERAGE $200 PER NIGHT TO HOUSE A HOMELESS PERSON THAN SUBSIDIZE AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR THE WORKING POOR. WHY NOT BUILD 85 MICRO APARTMENTS RENT THEM FOR $500, $600 PER MONTH TO WORKING PROPERLY SCREENED PEOPLE? DEVELOPERS KNOW THEY CAN MAKE A MILLION OR MORE PER YEAR BY HAVING THE CITY LEASE THEIR HOTELS WITH OUR HARD EARNED TAX DOLLARS.

I’m always astounded by how someone would build a hotel a block away from the projects. Hopefully not a homeless shelter in waiting.
