Police are searching for a 13-year-old boy who has been missing since Friday.
Police say that Aidan Harootian was last seen on May 17 around 6:30 p.m. heading north on 44 Street and then West on Broadway.
The boy lives in the vicinity of 43 Street and 34 Avenue, is in good physical health, and has run away in the past, police say.
The boy is described as white, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, thin build, with brown hair, brown eyes, and glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a gold bicycle design, black shorts with a red stripe, and turquoise Nike sneakers.
Anyone with information in regards to the missing person is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
The question remains: why does he keep running away? Parents should take their children’s actions as hints to lay off with the pressure!
