Two men were punched in the face inside their Astoria apartment—with one then being stabbed—by two suspects who broke in and stole a suitcase and $800, according to police.

The suspects punched two 27-year-old men in the face around 11:20pm Tuesday inside their 33rd Street and 31st Avenue apartment. When the victims tried to flee the apartment, one of them was stabbed in the hand and back.

The victim with the stab wounds was taken to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.

The first suspect has been described as a white man, 20 to 25 years old; last seen wearing a dark colored long sleeved shirt, dark pants and dark colored shoes.

The second suspect is also white, 20 to 25 years old; last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and dark colored shorts.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

My apartment was robbed yesterday too at the same block! They got in through the fire scape and took everything I had!!! The feeling of insecurity is terrible now.

Two suspects broke into an apt and we have people on this board making jokes. It is sad when people get used to the crime in the area and make jokes about it.

Curtis West, Are you embarrassed to be so ignorant? Well, at least the flashing of “white boys” photos on the Astoria post will shut your racist mouth on that topic anyway. If you want an accurate count on race and crime in Astoria just request it from the 114 pct. It’s public information. This will prove to you minorities commit a disproportionate amount of crime in the precinct, you babbling fool. Oh. by the way while you’re at it check out the race of the victims, you’ll find your brothers like to prey on other people of color. I guess your heart doesn’t bleed for them, you ignorant fool. Isn’t there a black blog you can post your foolish rants to?

Fire inspectors from the Special Investigation Unit received a complaint of illegal occupancy at a home just south of LaGuardia Airport at 23-57 89th St. They discovered 68 propane cylinders, which they seized along with five food trucks and a box truck parked on the property last week. The inspectors also found illegal single-room-occupancy in the home’s cellar.
